Urban Community Life is guided by the Sweeney family along with Daniel Shokai (co-director with Rustin Sweeney) and our board of directors: David Sherwood, Rustin Sweeney, Daniel Shokai, Brighton & Alyssa Sweeney, and Kevin Johnson. We are “tentmakers” and volunteers working together to show the power of purpose to overcome socioeconomic barriers. Primarily made up of young people, we each have a vision for loving people well, and have joined together in order to have a broader impact. As a team we welcome any questions concerning Urban Community Life and are available for speaking engagements detailing the work we do in urban communities.
