About meditation, we traveled to Milledgeville, GA, this past weekend to recruit summer campers, who also strolled around with us at an arboretum, an outdoor, living tree museum. Come to find out, these arboretums are everywhere.
Since I was responsible for reading the 9th step promises at the beginning of Our Common Welfare ZOOM meeting, I would like to point out that there are more promises at the end of step 11, which suggest prayer and meditation:
▪︎ A sense of belonging
▪︎ We no longer live in a completely hostile world
▪︎ We are no longer lost and frightened and purposeless
▪︎ We are no longer deeply disturbed
▪︎ We know God lovingly watches over us
▪︎ All will be well with us, here and hereafter
