UCLife had a remarkable season this year, praise God from who all blessings flow! A great group of guys/God’s Farmers 2015 & the mom’s who trust me with their sons hearts and minds (Deyancis, James, DeMarcus, Xavier, Malik, Keller, Caiden, Mari- these guys challenged me, inspired me, and saved me-so proud to be part of their lives) made incredible strides to grow and step into a higher purpose. I cannot say enough about their hard work, spiritual growth, and dedication. They really helped move the farm forward. Had some powerful interns and volunteers ( Jena Petersen-incredible God centered young lady that helped us the entire summer, Bridgette Presley-a powerful servant and future director of the young lady God Farmers, Brighton Sweeney-a man of quiet strength, firm resolve, kindhearted, and full of grace and mercy for God’s Farmers, God’s campers, and most of all his daddy, and the best camp counselor I have ever know, Javontae Smith-my son from another mum and broadfork bending superman, Shi Phillips-most excellent bathroom cleaner, Lionel & Paula Claude-encouragers extraordinaire, Sandra Sweeney-super mom & servant, Chuck Helton-our super duper fix anything, build anything, and put a window anywhere you want one man construction crew and all around great dad) Had some incredible help from Marietta Seventh-Day Adventist Church (helped with the roof on our bunkhouse & volunteer day), All Nations Seventh-Day Adventist Church (spent a whole week with our group…working, cooking for us, worshiping, and playing), Atlanta North Seventh-Day Adventist Young Adult Group (came for a great volunteer farm day, Summerville Seventh-Day Adventist Church (invited our farmers to come and speak at their church & came at the end of a season to celebrate God’s Farmers hard work), Carrollton Seventh Day Adventist Church (volunteer day fixing up the farm house & taking God’s Farmers water skiing at Tom Peterson’s lake). Had some really special individuals prepare food, make donations to keep us going, and encourage us! ( David & Esther Kim, Danny & Cynthia Vernon, Jadra Lazo, Jake, John the Brilliant, Florina Ene Rosca, Susan Owings, Kevin & Margaret Johnson, Greg, Sister Loann, Sister Sharon, Noelle & Marco).
